3 Last-Minute Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas

During the holidays I am good at two things:

  1. procrastinating, and
  2. finding outfits that look cute but also let you eat mashed potatoes and apple pie in abundance.

From my very specific expertise, this post was born. Today I'm sharing three last-minute outfit ideas for Thanksgiving, and you probably have most (or all) of the items in your closet already.

Casual Family Gathering

This is for all of you who are hanging with your fam but don't necessarily want to be in yoga pants. Jeans with stretch, a cozy sweater, and ankle boots make this outfit both comfortable and cute. Go ahead and help yourself to another slice of pie without changing into your pjs.jeans (cheaper and similar) // top (similar)  // sweater (this one is from Marshalls but Target has some similar) // boots // glasses (style is hepburn)

Friendsgiving Fête

Again, movable material is your friend. I paired this cashmere sweater with an a-line ponte knit skirt, sweater tights, flats and a scarf for the finishing touch. This outfit is fun and feminine without having to adjust every time you get up for more wine because, let's be real, Friendsgiving is usually aflowin' (is this a word? You get it.)sweater (similar) // skirt // tights // shoes (similar) // scarf

Out with the In-Laws

I paired this all-black ensemble with pretty jewel-toned accessories to give it dimension, and I think it's my favorite look. The best part? It conceals potential spills and looks chic as H without sacrificing comfort.sweater (similar) // pants // clutch // shoes // earrings (similar) // shades I hope these outfits will inspire your own Thanksgiving style! Now I need to actually stop putting off the to-do list, and prioritize my life LOL. If you'd like more style inspiration you can check out the Style section of the blog or follow my Style board on Pinterest.Tomorrow I'll be cooking vegan dishes for Steve and I to take to his fam's in New York and we'll make the drive up Thursday. Also, my brother-in-law, sister-in-law & our Godson will be there and I CANNOT WAIT. What are your plans for Thanksgiving?xoK.
