Finding Hope: An Infertility Link- Up
Hi, friends! Before I jump into this post I want to say thank you, as always, for following along on our journey of infertility. So often I wish this wasn't my story to tell, that I could have something joyful to share with you instead of continued struggle, but I appreciate you being here with me! Today I am linking up with my sweet college friend, Holley of Bee Simply Organized to start a series on infertility. We will be posting on the last Tuesday of each month, and would love to hear and support you through your own stories as well. If you or a friend might benefit from this community, please join us through the link up at the bottom of Holley's post each month. Here are the topics we are covering in the coming months:Right before my surgery in 2017, which you can read about here, I reconnected with a friend from college, Holley. She was also scheduled for an ovarian wedge resection a week before mine. It was such a gift to have her share her experience with me, reassure me and offer advice, and to share in her joy when she got pregnant with her sweet daughter, Caroline. I am forever grateful for her friendship and the shared experience that brought us here today. Many of you are familiar with Steve's and my story, but if you aren't you can read about our infertility journey under the family section of the blog. A few posts that I share most frequently are:This post regarding initial diagnosis of PCOS & general storyThe rest of my posts following our storyThis post about our first miscarriageI mentioned our second miscarriage briefly in my last post, but I have yet to write about our specific experience the second time around. Maybe someday. I am still hopeful Steve and I will have a family of our own, even if it doesn't look like what we imagined. We appreciate your continued love and prayers as we navigate all of the next steps. If you would like to share your own story of infertility, feel free to link to your blog in the comments or via Holley's official linkup. If you know someone who would benefit from connecting with other women in this way, please pass this post along.xo,Katie
