Floral Dress for Spring and Summer Styled Two Ways
Last Tuesday I had the opportunity to celebrate the sacrament of Confirmation with my sixth 8th grade class since beginning work with St. Damien in 2011. Naturally I was all, "I have nothing to wear" & Steve was all, "what about the 93,456 dresses in your closet?" but I couldn't hear him because I was already in my car on the way to Old Navy.Surely it was divine intervention because I found the perfect spring-to-summer dress & it is under $40! Just kidding, y'all, Jesus don't care about my fashion finds. BUT! For the next two days they're currently having a 40% off everything & free shipping after $25 (code: FREESHIP) sale, so you could get this look for even less than I did.I've styled the dress two ways for you-- how I wore it to Mass & how I might wear it to a backyard BBQ if ever I am invited to such an event. I have also linked all the items for both looks in the links down below.

Does anyone else remember choosing their Confirmation name?? Tbh, when I was going through the process in 8th grade I was like, "what name do I love so much right now?" and that fueled my search. In true procrastinators fashion, I took to the computer the night before we were to turn in our Saint report, determined to find a name that I liked. Also, let's be real, the internet was new to me & I was looking for any excuse to use AIM in the name of research for Jesus and my faith, mom. I found this online domain of every saint ever (jury still out on its actual legitimacy--jk, sort of) and chose Isabel of France, who is actually kind of a G, so I am not mad about it.ANYWAYNow for the casual look. Make sure you stick around for what I have lovingly named LOL Fail, aka the outtakes.
